Avant-Garde’s reputation has been built upon the quality of staff employed to carry out its various services. The Managing Director and the Senior Supervisor handle all recruitment personally. This includes a personal interview and reference checking. At least one job reference is checked along with a personal reference. In any sensitive work location additional checks can be made.

On going control is provided by regular site visits carried out by the Senior Supervisor and the Managing Director. The relationships between management and staff are both open and supportive. Any performance or other related issues are dealt with speedily and effectively. In the case of new skills or performance needs, one on one training is provided.

Motivating staff plays a major role within Avant-Garde’s structure. The service industry as a whole depends on reliable and well-trained staff and lets face facts, any company is only as good as the staff it employs. Every employee within Avant-Garde is aware of the importance in maintaining service satisfaction for you, the Client.

Avant-Garde pay their staff above the average local rate, which ensures that we have a loyal and committed work force. Every employee is supplied with protective uniforms, labeled with our Company name, so that they look smart and can be identified easily. Each employee is fully aware that Avant-Garde operates a non-smoking regime on all of its client’s premises. Warnings are issued with consequent terminations if improvements are not forthcoming.
